Welcome to WHEEL HIGH

If you can't walk, and you want to wheel high onto mountain tops, or explore rough paths through woodland or forest, then you're in the right place.

WHEEL HIGH was formed to provide off-road handcycling opportunities to disabled people. We currently have a ONE-OFF handcycle available for use at Glenmore Lodge, the National Outdoor Centre, in the Cairngorms National Park. We also have a GREENSPEED off-road handbike available for use at the nearby Badaguish Outdoor Centre, also located in the Glenmore Forest Park area.

These bikes were funded by Sport Scotland Awards for All and the Walking on Wheels Trust. The bikes are available for anybody who would like to experience hand-cycling and enjoy the forest trails. Glenmore Lodge also has accessible accommodation, and Badaguish accesible group accommodation,  if you would like to take more time to explore the trails arond the area.

The ONE-OFF can get you places you'd never imagine possible, but you do need good upper body strength to use it. For more information and pictures, see www.oneoffhandcycle.com The GREENSPEED is easier to use, and great for exploring relatively level trails which aren't too rough - see www.greenspeed.com.au

Both bikes can be pre-booked by phoning Glenmore Lodge or Badaguish respectively - details on the 'Book the One-Off' or 'Book the Greenspeed' pages.
