Dominic's Music

Dominic's musical range is highly eclectic and his compositions cannot be categorised as one specific style. He has written music that has been compared with Gregorian Chant, Simon and Garfunkel, Steeleye Span, Cat Stevens, James Taylor to name but a few. His solo albumns and those produced whilst he was working with Steve Wilson, are highly unpredictable and rarely fit into one genre of music. This is a quality which has been repeatedly commented on and an aspect of his work of which he is very proud.

All albumns are totally free to download and the breadth of listeners who access the music, with listeners in Israel, Brazil, Germany, Holland, Mexico, USA, China, Japan and the good old UK, reflects its broad appeal.

 Dominic's first solo albumn, 'Simon in the Wilderness' which he was inspired to write in response to the friendship and music shared with three of his students, who will remain always close to his heart. Dominic believes that some of the best songs he has written are on this albumn.

 

 

'Sunset Way' is Dominic's most recent albumn, and its stunning cover was designed and drawn by his seven year old son, Nicholas who is a truly amazing artist. With songs dedicated to his children, and hymns from his childhood performed and reworked in his own inimitable way, this albumn is very important to Dominic and he hopes it strikes a chord with others

 

 Heaven Knows Best is not as overtly religious as the title suggests, but it does reflect many of Dominic's beliefs and attitudes.
