We're a diverse group based in Knightswood, Glasgow, enjoying wonderful views of our 'dear green place' from the south-facing slopes of Trinley Brae.
With two communal areas to exchange ideas and tips we're also mindful of the biodiversity within our site. We have wildlife areas, several ponds and bug habitats, as well as thick hedging and a variety of trees.
As plots develop we see the personalities of their creators as well as the rewards of ever-better cropping and greater personal expression. This is a spirited place having been worked by the Land-Girls to aid the war-effort, then extended in 1981 in response to the need for greater self-sufficiency following the depression of the late'70's.
A further extension has been proposed to meet the resurgence in demand for these valuable spaces and new alliances have been formed with the local community. We look forward to tending our plots and enjoying the peace and tranquility befitting such a beautiful location.
