RULES
These are a few of our main rules, for in depth rules and regulations, please refer to league handbook.
- All players must be 16 years old (born before 08/08/93)
- All players must be registered with the club they intend to play for.
- In the event of a player signing for more than one club, Priority of registration shall decide for which club the player shall be registered (i.e. the club they signed for first) and the League Secretary shall notify the club last applying of the fact of the previous registration.
- It shall be a breach of rule for a player to :-
- Play for more than one club in the same season without being transferred
- Having signed for one club in the competition, sign for another club in the competition in that season except for the purpose of a transfer.
- Should a player desire a transfer, the club whom he wishes to be transferred to must submit the form with fee of £3.00 to the registration secretary.
- If the team from which a player desires to transferred from objects, they must respond, in writing, to the registration secretary and the player within 7 days of reciept of transfer form.
- Any team playing unregistered or ineligable players shall have the points gained from the match deducted and shall be fined £10.00
- The Home team must provide corner posts and flags and at least 2 footballs fit for play, failure to do so will result in a £5.00 fine.
- Once fixtures have been issued, a club may request non-allocation of a match providing they give 7 days notice. This only applies to league games. Cup games MUST be played on appointed dates unless management committee or Referee deems the pitch unplayable. Failure to do fulfil a fixture will result in a £15.00 fine and a 3pts deduction.
- A minimum of 7 players will constitute a team for a competition match.
- A club may use 3 from 5 named substitutes and the referee MUST be informed of the names BEFORE the match commences.
- Late kick offs may result in a fine of £5.00 for the team at fault.
- Half-Time shall be of a duration of between 5 and 15 minutes.
- Each team must complete a match card consisting of full names of players, the result, referees marks and a short match report (who scored? HT score, Man of the Match). Failure to do so, will incur a £10.00 fine.
- Referees are appointed prior to the fixtures being played. They shall recieve match fees of £17.00 plus expenses of 30p/mile.
- Each team is responsible for half the referees fee and MUST pay Referees Secretary BEFORE the appointed kick off time.
- If any Club Secretary has any complaints, they must put them in writing to the League Secretary WITHIN 72hrs of the match or occurrance to which they refer, except in cases where the Management Committee decide there are special circumstances.
- A club, official or player may, within 14 days of reciept of written notification, appeal. This must be done in triplicate to the Secretary of Durham County FA, including a fee of £25.00, for adjudication of a board of appeal. Should the complaint be withheld, the fee shall be reimbursed.
