About The Founder

My name is Steve Lawrence - I am a gardener,writer,amateur archaeologist, history fan, birdwatcher, antiques and collectables buyer and seller, a birdwatcher,nature lover,artist and craftsman. I live in Selsey, West Sussex, and have done for 20 years.

I have many years experience in hospitality and I want to put this to good use in organising holidays and day trips. I am a good organiser and enjoy creating exciting and interesting experiences. I want to run them on the lines of 1950s coach holidays - a chance to experience refined old world detail in a modern world.

I am hoping that our membership is as diverse as it can be but that we all want to enjoy those things from the past that still have value today.

We all realise that modern life has many positives and that the old days were not all good. Rose coloured vision is usual.
