DEDICATION

This is about the journey of some lads who met & formed a Rock & Roll band & is all about their journey from the formation of the band to its final demise. It also includes some of the history of Sleaford's music scene in the mid 1950's to mid  60's.

It is dedicated to group members Mac & Jimmy who have sadly both since passed away, also to Mr Bill Pratt, also now deceased who managed the group & to Margaret his wife.

I am sorry to announce the sad news that Colin Ingamels, the groups rythm Guitarist has recently died & will be sadly missed by his family & by many followers of the Satellites & the Wrinkly Rockers.    ( see you tube for some of their performances) Sept. 2014.

Sadly today ( 23/10/14) the death of Alvin Stardust aka Shane Fenton has been announced. He had been ill with Prostate Cancer for some time. On behalf of the Satellites R.I.P. Alvin.

Many thanks also go to all who helped "The Satellites" on their way, including the Leader & staff of Sleaford Youth Club where the group was born & to all members of the Youth Club & others who also supported the Group  along the way by attending the dances & travelling with them in the early days.
