FENNYS FORUM

THERE WILL BE INTERVIEWS WITH THE MANAGER DURING THE CLOSE SEASON WHEN HE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED OF THE COMINGS & GOINGS IN THE SQUAD,FRIENDLY FIXTURES & GENERAL INFO ON ALL THINGS BARKINGSIDE.

Well here we all are at the final home game of the season, boy do I hate the close season, but it will be a busy one,we will be painting up the ground,do pre season training early, having club days out & generally building on the excellant final third of the season we have had.Further proof of the great team spirit we have came against Enfield the other night we started with a 40 year old in goal four players patched up & finished undiscgraced with another 40+ in the heart of defence.
Still at least my dugout was smoke free for the first time this season.
We welcome a Romford side here today that may or may not already be champions, but they have had a fantastic season with only one defeat in 29 league games which is a great achievement, still you know me I will be looking to make it two defeats.
We then have our cup final next weekend which I feel is just reward for all the people on & off the pitch who have put a lot of effort into keeping this club going & building a brighter future for us over the last four months,I strongly believe we can have a season like the boro next campaign.
Once again thanks for your support this season, all of us at the club really appreciate it,look forward to seeing you in august.
KEEP THE FAITH FENNY.

Well only two home games left on what has at times felt like a very long season, for a whole host of reasons.First of all my thanks to you the supporters for all your support this season, like I said it has seemed a very long season but your faith in me & in my team has been very much appreciated.
My thanks also go to my management team & the players, those here still & others that have moved on,I know I have been like a bear with a sore head at times but just remember the loving cuddly bear I have been at other time,no seriously we have turned the club & this season round recently your efforts  have been appreciated.
TYhe committee also deserve thanks for their efforts & backing this season they are a great bunch who really care about this club, well done lads.
Lets round off this season with two home wins, hopefully to nick fourth spot,& then go & get the cup at Southend.
AS ALWAYS THANKS FOR COMING KEEP THE FAITH.

Welcome one & all to Oakside for todays game against Sawbridgeworth,I hope you all enjoyed wednesday nights fantastic result against Enfield, which sets us up nicely for a very hard second leg in two weeks.
Mark my words the result & the manor of the result will send shock waves around our division, thats three good wins on the bounce now & we seem to be getting our old ways back again as a side.
Every single player was fantastic on wednesday,& it was nice to see a good crowd here again, certainly the dark clouds over the club of october & november now seem to be lifting & there is a feel good factor amongst everyone in the club.
We now face two games in quick succession against Sawbridgeworth & we must make sure its not a case of after the lord mayors show & remain focused on the task today & keep this good run going.
Thanks for coming today,as always enjoy the GAME.

Hi & welcome to   Oakside along with the players, officials & supporters of our old friends Burnham Ramblers  we hope you enjoy todays fixture.I cant stress how important it is to everyone at the club that we have now returned to our spiritual home, hopefully it will coincide with improved performances & results. Our last game against Clapton was dissapointing to say the least, but these results happen in football, they have happenened before they will happen again.Everyone, despite idle rumours,is 100%. committed to this club,we have had a lot of changes this season on & off the pitch. The management ,players & committee proved there commitment to each other & to the club at the recent general meeting, where it was decided that changes in the club personnel were required. These have now been done ,the club is on much firmer footing,we have the right personnel in charge in all departments who give up a hell of a lot of time, effort, etc because they are truley dedicated to this club everyone both on & off the pitch & we do it because we have some truley great supporters, who although may be small in numbers are fantastic in terms of their commitment. Our aim between now & the end of the season is to win as many games as possible,to win the league cup, & to build a strong platform for next season. It has been very dissapointing to have the type of season we have had in the league, but the law of averages we had to have a poorer season at some point, also what I think people are forgetting in all the upheavel we have had off the pitch,John Taylor was an extremely hard act to follow,we started with a group of people intent on filling that role, not everything went to plan, but now in Angie,Janette,Martin,Rob,& Jimmy we have the people who really care about the club & as I said earlier are prepared to put in what it takes, this along with Kate,Doyley,Tony ROse,the players & myself makes a strong unit & everyone is now singing from the same sheet so we can build on recent changes at the club.Back to tonights game.lets hope we can put in a performance like the one at Bowers in the cup earlier in the season & pick up the overdue three points we all crave.
Well thats my say on things at the moment lets get down to the action & round off our home coming with a fine win.
AS ALWAYS THANKS FOR COMING.

Hi & a happy new year to all our supporters,I hope you all had an enjoyable xmas & are now ready for your Barkingside fix.
Well since the last home game there have been many changes in personnel at the club Jamie Langton has returned to the club, whilst Bradley Jones & Jamie Clarke have moved on,I really didnt want these two to leave as they were valued membersw of our squad, but I wish them all the best at their new club.We have a new chairman & we have had various meetings with him & my management team & we all are singing from the same song sheet & are united in what we want the club to achieve & also the direction we want the club to go in.We have qualified for the semi finals of the league cup & this really is a tournament we are taking seriously & our aim is to lift that trophy this coming may,it wont be easy but it is achiveable.
We also aim to finish as high as possible in the league table to give ourselves a strong base to go for the title next season.Pleasetry & encourage a friend, realative or work colleague to come to our games between now & the end of the season,we really want to try & build up the clubs fanbase.
Thanks for coming.
