How to take the chest measurement

To measure the chest area ask the person to lift their arms out to the side and place a tape measure or a piece of non-stretchy string around widest part of the chest area.  Take the measurement and you should have the size you require with this measurement. 

Hand knitted garments usually are standard sizes but this can change slightly with the type of yarn used to make the item. All of our ranges are measured after the garment has been made up.
