Point the finger

Obviously written before the damage caused in London and elsewhere in England over recent days - and nights. All the victims were asking "where are the police?". They were standing watching the devastation being caused by gangs of morons. Once again young people are being blamed for the destruction caused but they were not alone: we had mothers with children, as well as other adults taking part in the looting and arson. The police were completely unprepared - and untrained - and ill equipped - for this sort of onslaught.

The Mayor of London and the MPs have had to cut their holidays short to return to the commons and pontificate on the way forward. The commons debate produced little more than hot air. Swift action is required to deal with this situation. The lawyers will now have a field day. What will they do with all the money they will make defending this lot. And the do gooders will, no doubt, have a lot to say about the poor deprived souls.
Deport them a little further south than Australia and let them figure out how to survive
before they freeze to death.
THE TROUBLE IS CAUSED BY A BREAKDOWN IN FAMILY MORALS. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE POLICE.

I have reports of a lively discussion at the U3A Pub Lunch Group yesterday. Shooting the offenders was one of the more extreme solutions proposed. Personally, I would be happy to see castration for males and needles under the nails for the females. Of course, if the offenders are under age, the the sins of the child would be brought on the parents.
The castration would have a double whammy impact - deterrent and practical means to avoid more thugs in our society.
