Kals-Matreier-Törl is a mountain in the Alpine range of Hohe Touern in Osttirol, Austria. It is located about 3 kilometres west of Kals am Grossglokner in the Hohe Touern National Park. From the summit of Kals-Matreier-Törl, there is the best access to the summits of Kalser Höhe (2434 metres) and Blauspitze (2575 metres), which opens the group of Muntanitz Mountains in the range of Hohe Tourern Alps (trials 26 and 25). The climb on the summit is semi difficult and it can take about 4-5 hours. There is a beautiful trial number 502B from Kals. On the top of the mountain there is a nice hut. After some break and good meal the trial continues to Blauspitze that goes across an amazing trial called Panoramaweg.

14 July 2008 - the summit was reached after 6 hours of climbing;

11 August 2009 - the summit was reached after 5 hours of climbing.


HUT REVIEW

Kals-Matreier-Törl-Haus is a hut located very near the top of the summit of Kals-Matreier-Törl in the Alpine range of Hohe Touern in Osttirol, Austria.
