 Chewie ****ON A FOREVER HOME TRIAL**** Can you remember our gorgeous boy that came to the rescue middle of October? We had a naming competition for him so his new name became chewie. Well this stunning boy is now currently on a home trial with his new potential adopters. Please join us in wishing chewie the best of luck with the trial. Big good sweetheart and good luck.  Bruce BRUCE:- 6yr old Medium crossbreed *** ADOPTED *** BRUCE is a gorgeous friendly 6yr old Medium crossbreed who was saved by the SouthWest Team from being used as a bait dog x Bruce is an extremely friendly boy who greets you with his huge smile!! and although he is 6yrs old, he acts like a giddy puppy xx He is good with other dogs and was very good with Tye and Tia, and played nicely with Tye x but will chase cats although not aggressively he walks well on a harness and loves a treat so further training will be easy x Bruce is very clean in his kennel and doesn't destroy his bedding x x Bruce loves his toys and walks (especially if there is water to swim in) x He thinks he is a lap dog and will cuddle up to you and give you staffy kisses! Bruce is good with children but we do feel that older children would be better as he is quite bouncy and gets excited x |

 Casper CASPER:- approx 1-2yr old Staffy cross ***Casper has now found his own furever home*** CASPER: CASPER: Casper is approx 1-2yrs old and in a lot of ways is very puppyish, he does need understanding and patience until he is comfortable. New people and situations make him nervous at first and being deaf, he hasn't got the opportunity to hear the kindness in our voices, to help him relax, however his deafness does not hinder him in anyway (we have a lot of hearing dogs who stress in the first few days) x He does bark and grumble at first but comes round quickly, especially when helped along with treats x he knows sign language for most basic commands and like most puppy's is willing to learn x again treats are always a help :-) xx He needs slow intro's with other dogs and until you and he are both comfortable we suggest food and toys are introduced with other dogs and children slowly x |

 Diesel Diesel is a stunning Rottie cross boy who was saved from being Pts at the pound x He is very good with other dogs and loved walking with his canine pals. Diesel is now very happy in his new home that he shares with his little Westie pal x |
 Herbie Herbie is a year old Yorkie cross who was very nervous and barked at everything x he went into foster with a lovely lady who helped him to learn that the world is not so scary and he was adopted by his new family in time for Christmas!! x |

 Jessie JESSIE JESSIE:- is a beautiful 1yr old Lab cross who is as sweet in nature as she is in looks! she is brilliant with other dogs but does enjoy to be centre of attention x ADOPTED |
 milo MILO- 3yr old American Cocker Spaniel cross **** ADOPTED **** MILO- is a gorgeous 3yr old American Cocker Spaniel cross who is extremely friendly with everyone he meets! Milo is good with other dogs but can be reactive when on lead (he barks until he gets the chance to say hello) x Milo is clean in the house and knows commands like sit-stay-wait and bed x When asked to sit and give paw he does his impression of a meercat!  Perdi *** ADOPTED *** Perdi PERDI:- Approx 1yr- 18mnth old Staffie LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME Perdi is in foster with one of the Team and is proving to be an absolute sweetheart x she obviously hasn't had a nice previous life as she is handshy and a bit nervy at first, although start making a fuss of her and out comes her beaming smile!! She seems fine with the other dogs (all males) and loves the security of her crate x Perdi has a harelip but it isnt really noticeable and doesn't bother her at all x |
