Terms and Conditions

This is an agreement between you and Taskis Music Publishing (hereinafter ‘We’ or ‘Us’).  It concerns the use of this website (‘the Website’) and the purchase of music and / or content from this website (‘Music Content’).  If you use the Website or purchase Music Content from the Website in any form, you will be bound by this Agreement.

1. Rights Granted. Upon payment for Music Content, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Music Content only for your personal, non-commercial, entertainment use, subject to the Agreement. For Music Teachers it is permitted for copies (‘Fair Use’) of the transcriptions and arrangements of music that is in the Public Domain to be supplied to students.

2. Restrictions. You must comply with all applicable copyright and other laws in your use of the Music Content. Except as set forth in Section 1 above, you may not redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, modify, adapt, edit, sub-license or otherwise transfer or use the Music Content. We do not grant you any synchronisation, public performance, promotional use, commercial sale, resale, reproduction or distribution rights for the Music Content.

3. No returns. All sales of Music Content are final and risk of loss transfers upon sale. Your statutory rights are not affected. We do not accept returns of Music Content or offer refunds. We have no liability for Music Content you find to be offensive, indecent or objectionable.

4. Reservation of Rights. The Website and Music Content embody intellectual property that is protected by law. Except for the rights explicitly granted to you in the Agreement, all right, title and interest in the Website and Music Content are reserved and retained by us and our licensors. All licenses granted to you are non-exclusive and you do not acquire any ownership rights in the Music Content.

5. Copyright. For Music Content supplied by ‘Us’, the music itself may be in the public domain and so is not be subject to copyright but the transcription or arrangement could be subject to copyright. For the avoidance of doubt all the original compositions are subject to copyright.

6. Termination. Your rights under the Agreement will automatically terminate without refund of any fees or any other compensation if you fail to comply with its terms and conditions.

7. Amendments. We may amend the Agreement at our sole discretion by posting the revised terms on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any amendment evidences your agreement to be bound by it.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. This Agreement will be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

10. Exclusions of Liability. We will not be liable for losses arising from your use of this Website or Music Content. For losses that are not excluded by the above, our total liability to you (including any statutory right to obtain a refund) will be limited to the amount you paid to purchase the Music Content. Nothing in this paragraph affects your statutory rights.
