Bespoke Clothing

Often whatever you're looking for in the shops is not there, or if it is. it just does't quite fit as it should.

Having something made to measure means it fits in all the right places. Its not always a garment for a special occasion - sometimes its just because you want it made!

The process involves: measuring you; drawing up a paper pattern and cutting fabric and making up the outfit.

I usually prefer to make up a toile (a dummy of the dress, in a similar weight of fabric) to check on the fit and drape of the garment. The toile is where all the necessary re-shaping is done and also hem-lengths etc can be set. With all the tweaking done at the toile stage, I can get on and make up the final garment to a finished state.

So whether its a wedding, special occasion or costume you know that it'll be a good fit! Have a look at some of my work in my galleries (currently albums on facebook)
