                                  Stirling Male Voice Choir

The Choir is now in its 37nd year of existence, having been formed by the amalgamation of Dunblane & Bannockburn MVCs. Its original Musical Director was Sandy Sinclair who conducted the Choir for almost 30 years.

Our current Musical Director is Kitt Mitchell who took up the post at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

Our accompanist for the last 15 years is the ever youthful Islay Moore a valued member of the Choir.

The Choir currently numbers around 25 - no previous choral singing experience is needed and we welcome all new members  irrespective of existing musical ability.

Our Season runs from September until April, we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm at Logie Kirk Hall, Causewayhead, Stirling and our Annual Concert takes place at Bridge of Allan Parish Church in April.

Otherwise we perform a very wide repertoire of Songs from the Shows, Light & not so light opera, Spirituals, good Welsh Hymn tunes, and importantly as a Scottish Choir a good  selection of Burns Songs and other well known favourites all at various venues in the Stirling & Hillfoots area.
