Stephanie is a S9 Team GB Paralympic Swimmer. She represented Team GB in London 2012 and was the most sucessful athlete winning 4 Silver and 1 Bronze medals.

She was training for the  2000 Sydney Olympics and was then diagnosed with MS.  Her Olympic dream was over.  Or was it!!!!

She lost her sight and was unable to walk, she was then inspired to pick up her training and she worked hard by learning to walk again and regaining her sight, she then started her swimming training again and qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she narrowly missed out on a medal position.  But in London got that all important medal, followed by 4 more.  An amazing achievement.

She is currently training in Bath for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games but she needs our support with funding for this.

She  spends hours visiting schools and hospitals and other organisations inspiring children to achieve their dream, she loves seeing their faces and answering their questions.

We need to give her something back and we are working on a number of events to raise much needed funds for her, including a Sponsored Karate-athon on the 7th June in Trowbridge Park, where you could come and meet Stephanie and her medals and lend your support to her and the children. You can also support her by giving here on this page
