Church Notices 21 August

Welcome to all who have joined with us in worship this morning, with an especial welcome to any visitors among us.  Tea and coffee are served after the service, please stay and meet with one another if you are able.

This afternoon Douglas and Christine Macintyre of Glencairn Old Glen Road Newtonmore will be hosting “Cakes in the Garden” from 2 till dusk, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The prayer group meets on Monday at 12.30.

On Monday 22nd August at 7 p.m. there will be a meeting of all those who have agreed to serve in the various Session groups.  Once we have met together to discover how the new system will work, we can get it up and running properly.

The next Messy Church is on Sunday 28th.  If people could collect any black plastic food trays that come into their hands and pass them on to us, we would be very grateful.

Everyone is warmly invited to an open public lecture given by Professor Donald Meek and hosted by Highland Theological College. Donald Meek was formerly Professor of Celtic Studies and a specialist in Highland history. His title is: ‘The 1810-15 Journals of the Itinerant Highland Preacher Dugald Sinclair’. Admission free. Monday 29th August, 7.30 pm, Dingwall Free Church.

On the evening of Friday 9th September the acclaimed Christian singer Ian White will be performing his music in St. Bride’s.  Please mark your diary now!
