Church Notices 6 Sep

Welcome to any visitors who are worshipping with us. Tea and coffee are served after the service and please stay to share time with us. This is a service of Holy Communion and we invite all who love our Lord to join us around the table.

The prayer group meets on Monday at 12.30 in the vestry.

Rhyme Time meets on Tuesday at 10.15 a.m.

During the month of September Laggan and St. Bride's churches are asked to help the Aviemore foodbank by donating suitable items. The list can be found on the notice board, and a box is at the back of the church. We will also make this the focus of our Harvest Thanksgiving service on September 13th.

On Saturday 12th September the presbytery is hosting a conference entitled “How will our Children have Faith?” from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. in Aviemore church and hall. Please see the notice board for details and tell the minister if you would like to attend.

When our Czech visitors are with us at the end of the month it is proposed that on Wednesday 30th September we host a Scottish evening for them in St. Bride's.  Phyllis Henderson is coordinating this - though she will be looking for table hosts/hostesses.  She also needs to know numbers of people who hope to attend.  If you would like to come - and we hope as many as possible will  - can you sign up on a sheet at the back of the church.

Adventures in prayer workshop run by Steve Aisthorpe will take place in Inverness on Saturday 3rd October from 10.00 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. Pre-registration is required, but if you are going please tell the minister, as she knows of at least one other person going who would like a lift!
