This is your chance to influence what cuts go ahead. I would urge to take part in this survey, it will affect EVERYONE in Argyll and Bute, and then people can't complain about the cuts if they don't voice their opinion and try to stop them before it's too late. I would ask you to pay close attention the the proposed cuts to Education, in particular Early Learning and Childcare (ELCC). Additional Support Needs (ASN) and the withdrawal of Third Sector Early Years grants.
The reduction of any of these services has an impact on everyone. Also if the WITHDRAWAL of third sector grants to Early Years goes ahead, this will affect the project hugely (that's the baby room) as the core funding we receive to run comes for this grant, and it is becoming increasingly difficult-if not impossible, to secure funding from other sources. This is the WITHDRAWAL of grants, not reducing them, it will mean there will be no money given out to services like our birth to 3 unit. (The project, baby room)
