After the Easter Holidays our new topic will be New Life.

this will follow on from our All about the forest topic, as the children have shown a great interest in nature and animals.

We have already received some caterpillars (although they were not supposed to arrive until after the hols) and they are growing at a speedy rate. We will watch them cocoon and then hatch into beautiful butterflies.

We have also bought an incubator to hatch our own chicks. We have never done this before and we have some helpers on hand to give us advice and re-home the chicks after the hatch (if all goes to plan). So it is EGG-citing times ahead, with lots new adventures in the new term!
