Our Girls
Foxy That girl knows her place.........Not. Should I need to look for something in a cupboard, she will be there, looking with me, trying to help (she might find something, but not what I'm looking for). No matter if I'm trying to relax when watching telly, or trying to go to the bathroom, she will be there. Her favourite place is on my shoulder, or wrapped around my neck. She also sits in the living room window, the typical show cat, to be admired by everybody walking by. Foxy is PKdef and PRA negative.
Kiwi
Well, what can I say about Kiwi? She is one mischievious kitten. She is absolutely everywhere, opening all the drawers and cupboards (there could be treats in there), trying to open the doors. She likes to slide down the bathtub, the lightcords in the bathroom are a fascination in themselves. There is nothing better in the world than watching soap bubbles pop, that can be done for hours, and a dripping water tap is just the best thing in the world. She has several "mad five minutes" a day, it seems the whole day is spent chasing water drops, shadows, other cats, kids and grown ups. She knows when she's done wrong, but how can you stay mad at a smiling face like this??
Layla Layla was our first ever pedigree cat, and she is loved by all, including the neighbours. She is the only cat in our household that is allowed to go out, she opens the front door and lets herself out (before we had to keep the door chained). Often she is seen visiting our neighbours cat, who adores her, and it's been known that on return from a shopping trip, both cats would have a nap together in his bed. She is the most loving cat imaginable, and I literally have to remove her from my lap, otherwise she would stay there forever. Her purr can be heard throughout the house. She has a little limp, as she broke her shoulder when a young cat, I still have no idea how that happened. Layla has been spayed.
Ana Ana came to us two years after Layla, after having seen a picture of a Havana Oriental, and by chance we found her. She has the loudest voice in the family, even overshouting the little one when neccessary. It's fun to hold a conversation with her, she will always answer back, and she will always have the last word. Ana has been spayed.
