FABRICS

The main fabrics that I deal with are scottish woven. They are all natural fibres - wool/cashmere, wool, wool/silk/linen... all produced by the best of weavers. The fabric pieces are weaver's samples and each piece is totally unique within itself. They are wonderful to work with and very reasonably priced. Most pieces are at least 2m long but the widths vary. As there is such a small quantity of each fabric it isn't possible to send out samples for colour matching but, I can send samples of fabric type for you to experiment with to see how it handles. Some samples I have laid a metre stick down to give you an idea of the size of the piece on others I have used a standard siize biro. I hope this is of assistance to you.

14 100% wool coating.	15 100% wool. Feels almost like a knitted fabric but is woven. Very light and warm. Makes lovely cardigans/jackets and is very easy to handle.

22 100% wool. Same weave and weight as 15.	23 100% wool. Same weave and weight as 15.

26 100% Wool. Same weave and weight as 15.	27 Pure wool. Light and warm, ideal for cardigan style jackets.
28 Pure wool coating. The fabric is a stronger pink than portrayed in the photograph. Would make a wonderful skirt.	29 And this one the overall impression is yellow! Whoever wears this will be a lovely ray of sunshine on a winter's day.
