Local shops, a post office and a hotel are all within walking distance. There are also several good restaurants and hotels serving food in the nearby town of
Location
Eastlea is located in the village of Hilton, one of the three villages [Hilton, Balintore and Shandwick], which make up the Seaboard Villages, seven miles from Tain and six miles off the A9 [the main trunk road north].
Dingwall, the nearest large town, is approximately 30 miles away, and the city of
Leisure
Local fishing boats are often available for hire and sea and trout fishing can be arranged.
There are many other activities and sites of historical interest in the area, including the Balintore Mermaid, Pictish Stones of Shandwick, Nigg and the Hilton of Cadboll Stone, which is just 500 yards from the accommodation.
There is also an archaeological dig and museum in nearby Portmahomack and The Royal Burgh of Tain has some fascinating ancient buildings, museum, craft shops and supermarkets.
The golf courses at Portmahomack, Tain and Royal Dornoch are within 10 miles of the cottage.
Prices
Rates are seasonal and range from £190.00 to £350.00 per week.
Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday and full payment should be made on arrival.
Bed linen and towels are provided and a cot and high chair are available on request.
The cost of central heating, an initial supply of coal and kindling for the open fire are also included in the weekly rental rate.
Short lets for up to three nights are available at a reduced rate from November to April [excluding Easter, Christmas and New Year weeks] - please ask for details.

This is a totally non smoking cottage. 
Ample off street parking.
Well behaved pets welcome, but not on furniture [own bedding must be provided].
