Here is a little introduction to our little Herd. We have been very lucky to be trusted with the care of these lovely equines. Some are on loan and some have been gifted to us. Hopefully in the future these boys and girls will be looking for new sharers and sponsors.  Bailey Bailey is a 15hh Reg. Welsh Cob Gelding. He is 12 years old and belongs to Georgia! We hope his role in the future along with being Georgia's horse, as she pursues a career as a Think Like a Pony Instructor, will be to work as an Equine assisted Therapy horse as he is very perceptive of people and is genuinely interested in humans. |
 Blottie Blottie is a 16hh Appaloosa X Leopard spot mare who has been very kindly gifted to SPP from Alison Elmer! Alison and Blottie have worked through the Parelli Levels to preparing to audition for level 4! Blottie is living out with the rest of the herd at Eglinton Park with a rug if its going to be particularily windy and wet. Blottie is a real asset to SPP as she is very solid through her ridden work and as they say Horses teach Humans and Humans teach Horses |
 Drum Drum is a 13hh Rum Highland Pony Gelding. Drum is really sweet natured but also very determined. Iona his main sharer just loves him to bits and will hopefully enjoy a lot of hacking out and liberty work this summer. Drum will hopefully be one of our therapy ponies as he is just so cuddly and interested in people. |

 Ruby Ruby is an 8 year old Mini shetland Mare who belongs to Judith Wright. She ia a firey little munchkin who is an excellent teacher and loves to play, she is a dab hand at horse agility and has previously taken part in the Irvine Marymass Parade with Judith's daughter Mirren. She is a very friendly pony who will be available for teaching children, nervous people and people with disabilities and she is always happy to get scratches and cuddles! Judith's daughter Amelia is Ruby's partner in crime at the moment and they are very well matched! |
 Sugar Elf Sugar Elf is an 22 year old, 12.2hh, Black, British Show Pony Mare who has came to us from the Highlands of Scotland. Sugar is a school master who is mostly retired and belongs to our Secretary Margaret and shared by her long term partner Debbie. Her speciality is liberty work as once she has a bond with someone she just doesnt want to leave them! Drum is madly in love with her but she only has eyes for Bailey! Sugar and Ruby are best friends probably cause sugar is the only one wee enough to reach ruby's itchy bits! |
 Diesel Diesel is a 13year old, piebald, Gypsy cob Gelding who is 14.1hh. He belongs to Judith and is part of our share teampony. He has a lot of learning to do and is very inquisitive and playful, especially about the electric fence. He can be quite nervous and tends to run off if something scares him. Thanks to the time and dedication by Diesel's Sharer Kassidi he is making great strides in his education and will hopefully be a real asset to our Equine Assisted Therapy work! |

 Tommy Tommy is the oldest member of the herd at 27years. He is a retired RDA pony who joined the herd at SPP as Judith's loan pony and general Grandad to the younger ones! He is a 15.hh, bright bay, Gypsy Cob gelding. Judith has known him since he 5years old when he first came to the RDA in Glasgow! He is a firm favourite with all the SPP girls because he is so laid back, just wait til they join Judith and him on a hack though! Robyn and her Mum Margo are Tommy's sharers and love him even when he's stubborn, Although hes getting a bit stiff these days he still enjoys a good charge around the field and a bit of sparring with the younger geldings. |
 Heidi Heidi is a 14.1hh Welsh D x Cob, 22yr old mare who is on loan to us from Elle and Sue Weststyn. Heidi is worth her weight in gold. Probably our quietest pony who loves cuddles and hanging out with humans. Heidi has a new sharer to pamper her now and a new pal from our local Secondary school so plenty hugs for her! |
 Sapphire Sapphire is a registered New Forest pony Mare who is 12 years old. Her owner Joanne has gifted her to Judith as a loan pony for SPP. Judith started Sapphire as a 5 year old and helped her find Joanne. Sapphire is a fiesty, fun wee mare with loads of talent and personality. One of the first to greet you in the field and always wanting to see whats going on. Unfortunately Sapphire has had some issues with her hocks but hopefully we will be getting her back into work with her sharer Mirren this year! |

 Davey Davey is the newest member of the herd and is the youngest at 7 years old. He is about 13.2hh and another gypsy cob and is on loan from the McLaughlan family. Don't let his hippie hair and round physique fool you Davey is the most playful of all the ponies and like Drum - his best bud, he gets on well with just about everyone well maybe except Ruby she's not so keen on him! Davey is great fun although a wee bit cheeky and hopefully he will have his own sharer soon who'll be getting him fit for some summetime fun! |
