Schmidt ElectronicsPressure pads
The pressure pads are rugged, easy to install and maintain, invisible to the public, and work for up to 10 years before needing a battery change. Installation takes just 30 minutes on average, depending on local conditions.

Standard size of the pressure pad is 50x100 cm. Other sizes can be made to order. For counting on wide paths, two pressure pads can be used side-by-side. Two readout options are available, an economic "dial counter" that displays total numbers for manual recording, or a USB data logger that stores records for retrieval by computer.
NEW - Passive Infra Red counter
Schmidt Electronics is the sole importer of this well-proven passive infra counter from the Canadian Rockies. Self-contained and with a battery life of several years, it is easy to install without any disturbance of the path surface.

With a generous detection range of up to 4 metres, the counter can be positioned well away from the edge of the path if required. Readout options with the infra red counter: Display for manual readout of total numbers (always included), and an optional USB data logger for electronic recording.
