Transfer Talk: Cardiff bid for Sunderland target
According to reports in France, Le Havre defender Benjamin Mendy has been the subject of many offers. L’Equipe claims that newly-promoted Cardiff City are among the chasing clubs, while Lyon are also thought to have made a bid and there is interest from Italy.
Sunderland are eyeing French Under-19s international Benjamin Mendy.
Mendy, Left-back has been compared in his homeland to former France captain Patrice Evra.
The 19-year-old Mendy is a long-term Arsenal target and Lyon, Marseille, Tottenham Hotspurs and Rennes are also interested.
