Sept 2007 – Nov 2007 : Beacon Hill Landfill Site, Dorset - Quality Assurance for the capping of several Cells and the construction of a new one for EGNIOL Ltd.

March 2007 : Various small projects – Augmenting a team depleted by leave completing urgent site investigation reports for the Nicholson Group.

February 2007 : M1 motorway widening – Part of a team awaiting permanent augmentation carrying out desk studies of site investigation for Giffords.

November 2006 : Pembroke Power Station – Part of a team carrying out at short notice urgent site investigation for a proposed new CCGT power station for Soil Mechanics Ltd.

June 2006 – July 2006  : Dublin Port Tunnel – Alignment specialist – Final check on clearances before playing of road surface for Haswell Consulting Engineers.

Mar 2002 – Oct 2004 : Dublin Port Tunnel – Alignment specialist – Adjusting alignment to take account of serious tunnel-driving errors for Haswell Consulting Engineers.

  Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Motorway – Chief Tunnel Supervisor: Supervising construction of five route kilometres of twin three-lane tunnels (in hard rock by drill-and-blast with sprayed concrete support) forming part of the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Motorway.  Responsible for supervising all technical aspects of the Permanent Works, advising on the technical aspects of claims and preparing hand-over documents

Feb – Sept 1993 : RENDEL, PALMER AND TRITTON
  Kuwait oil jetties –  Senior Engineer:  Preparing reports on the damage caused during the Kuwait War.

1992 – 1993 : LONDON UNDERGROUND LTD / BRITISH RAIL
  CrossRail Project - Trackwork and Alignment Manager:  Responsible for leading a team carrying out all aspects related to the detailed design of the railway alignment.

  Jubilee Line Extension Project – Trackwork and Alignment Manager:  Responsible for leading a team carrying out all aspects related to the detailed design of the railway alignment.

1988 – 1990 : BINNIE AND PARTNERS
  Istanbul Sewerage Scheme  – Chief Tunnel Supervisor:  Supervising all aspects of the construction of a 5m diameter TBM drive through rock, and a cut-and-cover estuary crossing.

1985 – 1988 : Freelance Consulting Engineer
  Carried out a wide variety of commissions, both for individuals and for companies, including Gifford and Partners and SFMS Ltd.

1976 – 1984 : HONG KONG MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY CORPORATION
1977 – 1984   design office.   Tunnel Design Engineer for design and planning for future extensions, including detailed alignment design, tender preparation and assessment, and supervising design consultants.

1976 – 1977   on Site.    Assistant Resident Engineer for the construction of four running tunnels and a crossover tunnel in hard rock by drill-and-blast
