From the South
From M74 take A75 to Dumfries Follow Dumfries bypass then take A76 s/p Kilmarnock. for approx 7 miles, as you approach Auldgirth and before you cross river Nith take left s/p Dunscore /Penpont , after 1mile take R after 1mile take L S/P Glenmidge after 1/4 mile at T junction take R and site is on the left.
From Auldgirth look for the red Squirrel
From the north leave M74 at Junction 14 Follow sign for Drumlanrig Castle and A76
when you reach A76 take left for Thornhill and on reaching Auldgirth cross bridge and hold centre of road as you are about to turn right S/P Dunscore /Penpont
