ROXY'S FIRST SHOW

At just six months and a few days Roxy attended her first show, the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show at Ingliston.   She took it all in her stride and went on to win the Minor Puppy Bitch class and get a very respectable second in the Puppy Bitch class, this means she has qualified for Crufts next year.  Not bad for her first show.  Well Done Roxy.

Here she is after her classes enjoying the May sun

Roxy was joined by Storm at the SKC Champ Show and he certainly didnt let the side down he got a second place in Yearling Dog Class and and second place in Novice, this means he has also qualified for Crufts next year.  Well Done Storm

CRUFTS

Last week  Rhianna and Storm enjoyed their trip out to Crufts.  They thoroughly enjoyed their time away. Although  they did not come home with any cards they showed and behaved extremely well, Rhianna was shortlisted in the large Mid Limit class and Storm (who is out of coat at the moment) took it all in his stride having a great time being pampered and photographed by spectators.

Another Reaosh beardie did extremely well at Crufts.  Ben, Reaosh Hey Cisco got a very well deserved second place in the Undergraduate class.  Well Done Ben.  Ben is owned by Robert and Grace Daniels.

Stroma made her long trip to her new home yesterday all the way to Scarfskerry, Thurso with her new owners Trevor and Jane.  Stroma took the 6+ hour journey in her stride.  She joins five other doggie friends (four beardies and a corgi) Alba, Skye, Hamish, Kemba and Katie.

Stroma is now living in a beautiful part of the country and is able to look over at her namesake island from her home.  What a lucky girl.

MEET THE BLUES

Chess and Fergus's pups arrived on November 13th, Chess had an all blue litter of five but unfortunately two didn't make it.  The surviving three are thriving well.

Hard to believe that  Chess and Fergus's pups are one year old today .  Here is a picture of young Bruce enjoying his celebrations.  He is the image of his dad.

Two youngsters from Chess and Fergus's litter have been doing extremely well, young Bruce has managed to get his picture in the Saturday Times for getting up to some  typical beardie  antics and young Molly has achieved her first certificate in obedience.  Well done to both of them.  They are now seven months old.  Below is a picture of young Bruce with Fiona, a picture of young Molly is to follow.

Three of the dogs enjoyed a run out to Troon today, this is a great achievement for young Jodi as she suffers from really bad car sickness, she is steadily improving and the last few journeys she has not been sick.  Going to Troon is now becoming one of her favourite runs. She was joined by Lacey and Storm.

Storm has had enough of posing for pictures and just wants to get on with the walk.

Last week was our trip to Crufts, which was very enjoyable, we only took Fergus with us as Rhianna had a touch of cystitis so it wasn't fair on her travelling.  Although unplaced Fergus enjoyed his day out being admired by people from all over.  Fergus had to share his car trip with our youngest son Reagan who was oblivous to all the fuss about the dogs as he was only interested in his Nindendo DS as you can see from the picture below

Storm had another day out this time at Manchester Championship Show  in Stafford  on Friday 16th January where he had a great day out meeting all his friends.  He had to travel alone this time as Rhianna was unable to go.  This time he got a very respectable second in his class.  Well Done Storm.

Storm and Lacey's Day Out

Storm and Lacey had a nice day out at Boston Championship Show  in Newark on Saturday 10th January, with Storm winning his class and Lacey getting a VHC in Yearling Bitch and 2nd in Graduate Bitch.  They had a wonderful day out meeting and greeting everyone . This is them getting ready for the long journey home.
