Full A class license UK Radio ham.Good day too all, thanks for looking at

my Details and Pics.

About myself I have been connected with

Radio and Electronics since a very young lad,

it all started with me about the

age of 9 to ten years old, building small

Rx's and putting up my own home

brew aerails.  This lead me after finishing

high school, and my Uno - college studies,

were I took Radio communications

engineering, after that I went on too work

for one of the leading telecommunications

companies at that time.

Been licenced now for near on 30 odd years + -

hi hi, holding and counting both of my

callsigns, and injoyed every second and

minute of it -- its in my blood, radio I

guess it allways will be.

Worked a greater part of my time in the early years on the

VHF and UHF bands were I managed too work neary all the UK

and deep into europe on both those bands, with out useing

the full legal power for the Uk licence.

After getting my A class went onto work

all if not most of the countrys in world

including some of the very rear ones.

Now days I seem too sit back and let it

happen, if thay out there with out hunting

for DX anymore, progation permitting has

we all know.

Now days you will find  me rag chewing

on one band or another too the many

friends I have made over the years, among

them very good one's I must say, but I love

too make new ones what ever bands I am

useing.

Its a great hobbie has we all know we

have here, and I try my best too help and

bring on some of the youngsters in the UK

too take up the hobby, lets hope it never

dies out with the on slort of the Internet

ect, tho saying that I get called a old

computer geek, but think there is still a

place for both in my book.

The other interests in my life have been Music,

Art, and Photography, to just name three.

On the music side I went onto compose

pop music and songs while playing in a

very well known group in the mid sixtys

too the early seventies, injoyed it so much

also that part of my life, but like many of us say about those

days thay are parts of it that are a bit misty now hi hi.

I moved Qth in the last year and half too a

lovely part of the UK in the North East of

England were the people are so friendy and are still very

helpfull too each other, least I have always

found them so.

Besides the great countryside here were we live now it just

takes your breath away, just waking up in

the mornings and looking out the window.
