Podiatry
A Podiatrist is a healthcare professional that provides diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg whilst building rapport and trust with patients to increase treatment success.
A Podiatry consultation/treatment includes an examination of both feet highlighting any issues or problems they may observe whilst allowing you the opportunity to express any discomfort/pain or general aesthetic grievances you may have with your feet.
Depending on each individual client a specific treatment plan will be carried out. Scalpels are used to remove any hard skin, which is followed by the use of a machine specifically designed to extensively buff the surface of the skin leaving it feeling baby soft once again! Perfect for anyone suffering from dry/cracked heels.
- Other routine Podiatry treatments include:
- Corn removal
- Callous reduction
- Ingrown toenails
- Verrucae Treatment
- Thickened/damaged/problem toenails
- Flat feet
- General foot pain
- Prescription orthotics and insoles
Most importantly a Podiatrist will target the cause of such problems and aim to prevent or reduce further recurrence.
