Tuesday night saw the Plockton U14 squad take on Gairloch at home in a friendly. The game kicked off at a fairly quick pace, and nice football was played by both sides making it a tight beginning. After 10-15 mins Plockton re arranged their side and began to take advantage, scoring three goals before half time.

 

Gairloch started well in the second half, and their right midfielder thumped a shot which left the Plockton keeper standing. This goal raised the tempo of the game again and Plockton responded well and kept the Gairloch goal under pressure. There was some fine saves by the Gairloch keeper, but Plockton continued to press and hammered home another five goals to make it 8-1 full time.

 

Well done to all the boys from both teams for all the great football played and thanks to Gairloch for travelling down for the game.
