So as guys and women enjoying a day of football and fun, its not just about the footy however, but, raising money for one of the many incredible Oxfordshire causes around.

Thanks to your very generous help, all the money will support Oxford’s New Children’s Hospital (CHOx).  You can make a real difference helping 65,000 ill youngsters dealing with some of the toughest and most difficult medical times of their young lives.

Make it easy to raise money with Play2Give 2009, Why not set a fundraising target between you and your friends? You can even set up your very own fundraising web site page on which people can donate directly to your target, click here for the Play2Give page. Justgiving is the most convenient way to pledge, receive and raise your cash to support such a worthy cause.

By using Justgiving.com it is simply easy, and quick, all it takes is an email you can send round all your contacts, asking for donations – if your supporters wish to donate, they will securely, safety and will go straight into the charity’s pot through the Play2Give Fund. It’s VERY EASY to set up your page – or email us and we will create one for you.

Once your page is up, just email the link round – you’ll be amazed at the response you can get, and how much you can raise (with the added Gift Aid scheme it enables pounds more to be raised – how great is that!!) For each £1 given, Play2Give for the Children’s Hospital can reclaim back that ‘would-have-been tax’, you can even opt to gift aid it at no extra cost to you!

You can still collect your sponsorship using the traditional sponsorship paper forms tradition if you wish – just let us know and we will email the forms to you! But let’s go one step better and make it Justgiving Aid this year – you could raise your £120 target within a short space of time (saving the hassle of chasing up owed pounds and pennies) – stress free fundraising the online way!!

If you need any assistance setting up your online fundraising page, email play2give@hotmail.com.  All we ask is each team signing up pledges to raise a Minimum £120.00 in sponsorship – if each player gave just £20.00 this could easily be achieved!  However, don’t let the minimum stop you raising heaps more, we even had one team make nearly £500 last year and if you have a specific reason for supporting the hospital makes it all that more special. 

Contact us for advice on raising your sponsorship, we might be able to help!!  You could even do a fundraiser at work, perhaps a cake sale, a sponsored event like a shave-your-head or dye your hair or do a sponsored no-smoke or sponsored slim, absolutely anything – its your imagination!!

You really can make a big difference by just asking everyone you know to support your participation in Play2Give – you never know your team could win a team prize planned if you raise the most sponsorship money – now there’s an incentive!!!

Please remember, to enable Play2Give to raise even more and achieve the target of up to £5,000 to give back to the Oxford Children’s Hospital just tick the relevant boxes online or on form – and tick yes to gift aid!

The money will be given to the Children’s Hospital to buy new equipment for its wards and departments.
