French Double Face

A small (and unfortunately incomplete) series of French double face decals.

Marked on the verso as 'Double-Face Shocking II'. Papier Teinte Deposée. Made by Chromotransfert (A.Besson). I am not a printing expert but it seems to me that these decals were lithographed in stead of screen-printed (like most American decals were).

DF.4 (if it exists !) is missing from this series. The 4th one , DF.5 shows smaller versions of the other decals. Assume that the girl with the bow and arrow would appear on DF.4

The last two decals are not double faced but are presumably the backside images of two of the girls in the sheets, the Can Can dancer and the girl with the bow and arrow. The experts will have noticed that these two are facing the same way as the girls on the sheets, so....
