GUIDE TO CHARGES

My standard charge for full-length manuscript work is £10 per hour for proofreading, £12 per hour for copy editing, or £14 per hour for both these services. Please add an extra £1 per hour for screen-based work.

Shorter work is charged at £3 per side of A4, up to a maximum of 3 full sides, after which the hourly fee will become payable.  Screen-based work will incur a furthur 50p charge for A4 pages, up to a maximum of 3, then the extra £1 to the hourly charge. (See above).

If you require work to be performed on a text planned for a leaflet, please submit the TEXT ONLY on A4, for which the above charges apply. Charges for work less than a full side of A4, or a full side of A4 split into short sections (e.g, a CV), will be assessed on an individual basis, please email for details.

Research work  is charged on an individual basis, depending on the subject area and amount/depth of information required. Please email for details.

Ghost writing is usually charged as a percentage of royalties from book sales. If the work to be ghosted will not be available for general sale, charges can be worked out on an individual basis. Again, please email for details.
