Toby

This is Toby my Border collie x GSD, he is now 9 years old and coming up to 10 in Feb 2010.

Toby is my first dog and after pestering my parents and after my brother was old enough we could then have the dog i had always been waiting for.

I came home from school and i remember talking to my sister about dogs and that i thought a Border Collie would be the best dog for us, not knowing that when i opened the gate and saw this cute little puppy in my dads arms. At first I didn't believe that he was mine, then my dad told me to get changed from my school uniform into my normal clothes so i hurried upstairs and started thinking about names i thought Shep but my sisters boyfriend at the time was nicknamed Shep so i thought not. I rushed downstairs and i saw him properly and he was so cute so i decided that he was Toby.

Toby came from Babbington Dog Rescue and was a puppy from the anniversary of Eastenders and his given name before we changed it was Gianni. He was one of 8 brothers and sisters who we met one of called Lizzie at one of the dog shows Babbington held.

Toby has been my special friend durring school he has been with me through the bullying and times of my misery he truely means everything to me.

Now 9 years young he comes along with me on my walks when i take other dogs for walks and would be insulted if i left him behind.
