Membership

Membership details:

A year’s membership entitles you to prepaid entry to all society meetings. These will be held on the last Tuesday of every month. There may be additional meetings throughout the year to coincide with astronomical events, and for speakers.
Each meeting will include a talk or demonstration on astronomy related issues.  If the weather suits we will go outside the hall to view the night sky. Dress warmly in this instance!

Upon payment of your membership, you will receive a welcome pack. This will include a copy of the constitution, a current newsletter, welcome letter, contacts list and a personal membership card.
Your membership will also give you access to any loan observing equipment such as a telescopes, binoculars and books, should they not already be out on loan. You will also receive a quarterly newsletter filled with everything from society news, space news, guides to a run down on the night sky for those months.

We are also considering other projects and developments for the coming months that your membership will entitle you to (more on that soon).

Membership fees:

Standard Annual Membership - £30
Family discount which includes two parents and two children - £45   (Additional £5 per child)
Students £25
Concessions (Age 65+) £25
