Hi All, 

As you know we have been running a restricted ferry service for some time now as a result of a shortage of qualified staff. I am pleased to announce that we have had a new skipper join the crew at Oban Marina. Tony McAllister is a proficient and experienced skipper coming from a seafaring background. 

The addition of a new skipper has allowed us to expand the ferry service into the evening and we will run ferries on request upto 11pm at weekends and 10pm during the week. 

We are as a company still in a vulnerable position so will not be running the ferries empty. It is therefore essential that anyone wishing to use the service must contact the office to book the vessel. 

I will update all of our customers, visitors and friends further regarding our position for the winter season tomorrow following a meeting with Mr Weir.
