Our new washing machines and dryers are here! Well almost here, just a little matter of getting them across the bay. And getting the leccie sorted - something about 3-phase which sounds like a boy band to me but apparently is what we need to do to get them working. I am told a man is coming to see about that tomorrow.

They are enormous and commercial and take much much less time than the current ones. I am beside myself.

Update (1st May). Some part that the electrician needs has not arrived and there don't seem to be any in Scotland never mind Oban. We will have to take the door frame out to get the dryers in as well. So all four machines are in the middle of the workshop getting in everyone's way and my smalls continue to wait.
