Rally for Decent State Pension
On the 100th Anniversary of the introduction of the first State Pension there will be a rally on Friday 1st August from 12:00 to 14:00 in Albert Square, Manchester.
Speakers to be introduced by Tony Lloyd MP include Cllr Val Stevens, Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council, Neil Duncan-Jordan of the NPC, Rev Graham Kent and Alan Manning NW TUC.
There will be music by the Lazy River Jazz Band and Refreshments after the rally.
