CREWE LIFESTYLE CENTRE
In the old library we were charged £15 per hour for a room with a cpacity of 80. When we transferred to the Lifestyle Centre the price was frozen for 12 months but we were repeatedly assured that any increase thereafter would vbe modest. Howver we have now been informed that the rate from 2017 will be £35 per hour, more than double what we pay now.
Swimmers and sports hall users have not suffered the same increase so we believe that we are being singled out. We would be interested to hear from any other groups similarly affected and from any who have left thr Lifestyle Centre either becsue of the charges or becasue of the appalling level of service for community groups holding meetings in Studios 4/5 during the day.
