SILVERLINE LAUNCHED
Anew helpline for people feeling lonely and isolated has been launched nationally following a successful trial in Cumbria. The service is the brainchild of TV personality Ester Rantsen, founder of Childline. Ester was keynote speaker at Future NorthWest's annual conferance at the invitation of our chair Kevan Larkin.
The service is available to all ages but is primarily aimed at the elderly. It aims to provide a regular and friendly voice at the end of the telephone
