LIVERPOOL PATHWAY TO GO
The Health Secretary has announced that the controversial Liverpool Pathway intended to ease patients during their final hours, is to be phased out.
The Pathway's reputation has been damaged beyond reprieve as a result of blatant abuse by hospital staff, either medical or managerial.
It will be replaced by a new system involving personal consultation with p\atients and relatives were possible.Whilst we welcome the fact that some action has been taken, let's hope the baby isn't thrown out with the bath water!!
