CARE PATHWAY INQUIRY ANNOUNCED
An independent review has been orderd by Care Minister Norman Lamb into the Liverpool Care Pathway and its application in the NHS.
The Daily Telegraph has revealed that 6 out of 10 NHS Hospital Trusts have accepted substantial payments as a reward for hitting targets for the number of patients on the care pathway.
The review will be overseen by an independent chair and will report back in the new year.
