This forum has been established by the Government Office for the North West for older peoples representatives in the Region
This forum has come about after months of campaigning by ourselves and our partners in the North West Regional Pensioners Association to ensure a voice for older people on 50/50 Vision, the government strategic review run by the North Wes Regional Development Agency.
Each highest level local authority in the region is allocated one place and we are please that the appointed person for Cheshire East is our own Vice Chair Kevan Larkin.
Kevan brings a wealth of experience in older people's issues especially in health and welfare is well known throughout the Hospital Trust and PCT.
He is also a member of the steering group on Cheshire East's own Ageing Strategy
