NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM VISIT
04/09/2012
Thanks to funding from Tesco Charity Trust we were able to run a coach to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. We left Crewe at 09:20 and returned from the arboretum at 16:00. The weather was very kind to us, no rain, cloudy in the morning but sunny later on without being too hot.
With over 400 memorials on view it's impossible to get round them all in one day even with the land train to help you. in addition there are hundreds of individual plaques on the trees. Here are a selection of phographs taken on the day. It really is a fantastic memorial to those who have given their lives for their country. Well worth a visit.
