XMAS LUNCH 2009
This year we decided to have our Xmas lunch at the Crewe Arms Hotel. 42 members were greeted with a glass of hot mulled wine before taking their places in the restaurant for a 3 course meal.
The hotel staff were magnificent and everyone was made to feel very welcome. The meal itself was excellent with a wide choice of menu though most opted for the traditional turkey and Xmas pudding.
Our thanks go to the staff and also our Chairlady Barbara Smith who put in a lot of hard work to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day.
We are also grateful to Help The Aged / Age Concern for their grant towards the cost of the meal.
