The FA Charter Standard Programme is The FA’s accreditation scheme for grassroots clubs and leagues.

The schemes goal is to raise standards in grassroots football, support the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding them for thier commitment and achievements.

With this in mind, The FA Charter Standard accreditation is awarded to clubs and leagues, rigorously adjudged to be well run and sustainable and which prioritise child protection, quality coaching and implementation of The FA Respect programme.

We are extremely proud and delighted to announce that Northfield Town Junior F.C. has been awarded Charter Standard Youth Club status for the 2018/19 season.

This is testament to the dedication of all the volunteers involved with our club: the committee, the club officials and most of all the team managers and coaches.

Achieving Charter Standard status helps to ensure that your children play in a safe, secure and friendly enviroment. All of our volunteers have to have enhanced CRC checks. All of our teams have either a Manager and/or a Coach that are, of a minimum, FA Level 1 trained coaches who are members of The FA Licensed Coaches Club, FA First Aid trained and having completed The FA’s Safeguarding Children course.

In awarding a Club Charter standard the FA also inspect the clubs financial accounts and also the conduct of our players and managers on match days.
