I like to write. I find it very satisfying to put on paper exactly what is burbling around in my head and what I am excited about.

Property has been a never ending source of fascination for me for years. I've been a tenant with the usual absentee landlord and inability to get things fixed. I've been a landlord, had agents manage my properties, and had the usual frustrations of the agent 'not getting things quite right'.

I have a Diploma in Journalism from New Zealand (and a strong accent, despite arriving in the Uk in 2001), where I wrote freelance for several years for national magazines and local newspapers.

Apart from the journalism, I've done a wide variety of jobs - public service, personnel, market research, press liaison, to name just some. I have worked for myself for some time, so I know the small business scene.

In 2008 I passed (with distinction) the Edexcel Diploma in Letting and Management through the Guild of Letting and Management.
