FAQS ON HYPNOTHERAPY

The practice of promoting healing or positive development in any way is known as Hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is not magic or occult, it is a natural, normal state of mind that aims to re-programme patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome.

Firstly, any misconcenptions should be dispelled. The patient cannot be made to do anything they would not ordinarily do. They remain fully aware of their surrounding sand situation. They are not vulnerable to every given command of the therapist. But the patient is in an enhanced state of awareness.

Anyone of sound mind can use Hypnotherapy for their own personal benefit. Hypnotherapy can be used to make specific changes from stopping unwanted habits, to preventing headaches, reducing stress, boosting self esteem or just  to relax.
