How long will I have to leave my dog?

It will take between 1 and 4 hours depending on the breed, size and condition of the dogs coat. I will give you a time to collect your dog or will arrange to phone or text you when your dog is finished.

How much will it cost?

Prices vary depending on the breed and whether your dog is overdue. For breed prices click Prices on the left. Please note that dogs that are overdue and matted may be charged extra.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, So that your dog gets one to one attention I work by an appointment only service, thus ensuring that your dog doesn't need to be here any longer than necessary.

Can I stay with my dog?

Owners are not allowed to stay with their dogs as I have found that they settle a lot easier when their owners have left.

Will my dog be tied up?

During the grooming session your dog will be harnessed for safety reasons so that dogs can not jump/ fall from the table or bath.

Will my dog be muzzled?

Most dogs do not need to be muzzled, However if a dog shows signs of aggression then a muzzled will be fitted to ensure their safety and my own. If a dog becomes too stressed wearing a muzzle then the grooming session will be stopped!.

How often should my dog be professionally groomed/clipped?

This depends on the breed of dog. After you appointment I will advise you when your dog will be due again.  

IE - Poodles will require clipping and grooming every 6 weeks where as westies will need to be done every 10 to 14 weeks depending on the texture of the coat.                                                  

Can I book my next appointment in advance?

Yes, I advise that you do to guarantee a day and time to suit you. You can request a reminder by phone or text a few days before if you feel you may forget your appointment.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

24 hours noticed is required if you cannot make your appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible so the  time slot can be filled by someone else.

NB A charge will apply for missed appointments and late cancellations.

Can I bring my dog at the weekend?

Yes, book in advance as Saturdays can be busy!

Can my dogs own prescription shampoo be used?

Yes, If your dog has a skin complaint and has shampoo presribed by a vet then this can be used instead of my own. Please label clearly with dogs name.

Do You groom cats?

No, sorry only dogs allowed!
